每天五杯咖啡对健康益处多多

美国权威饮食营养专家小组周四发布营养建议时,前所未有地在是否该喝咖啡的问题上表了态,不但如此,他们的说法尤其出人意料。
When the nation's top nutrition panel released its latest dietary recommendations on Thursday, the group did something it had never done before: weigh in on whether people should be drinking coffee. What it had to say is pretty surprising.
专家小组表示,人们完全不必担心咖啡有害健康,相反,还建议大家可以考虑多来点儿咖啡。
Not only can people stop worrying about whether drinking coffee is bad for them, according to the panel, they might even want to consider drinking a bit more.
专家小组举例说,每天喝三到五杯咖啡能给人身体带来的健康风险非常小,并表示,每天五杯咖啡对健康益处多多,包括可以可以减小心血管疾病和II型糖尿病的风险。
The panel cited minimal health risks associated with drinking between three and five cups per day. It also said that consuming as many as five cups of coffee each day is tied to several health benefits, including a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
